The papers and agenda for the Pension Committee meeting, being held at Guildhall on 5 December at 10am have now been published.
The Pension Committee is responsible for the overall management of the fund and they do this by meeting four times a year, or otherwise as necessary.
Some of the main responsibilities of the committee are as follows:

Monitor investment activities during the year

Monitor overall performance of all the fund managers

Monitor the activities of the administration function

Accept new employers into the fund

Reviewing governance arrangements
The Pension Committee consists of representation from Shropshire Council and Telford and Wrekin Council. There are also employee representative and substitutes who attend meetings when a member is absent, all of whom are volunteers. Current members are:
